Ensuring Transparency and Integrity in Research Publications
At Contusm Publications, we are committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in all published research. A conflict of interest (COI) arises when authors, reviewers, or editors have financial, personal, professional, or ideological interests that could influence their objectivity.
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or political/ideological relationships that could affect their research. This includes funding sources, employment, patents, investments, or close personal connections.
Reviewers and editors must recuse themselves if any potential COI could affect impartiality. Editorial decisions are made based on scientific merit, using multiple reviewers to minimize bias.
Contusm Publications manages conflicts by requesting disclosure statements, assigning alternate reviewers or editors if necessary, and publishing COI statements alongside articles to maintain transparency and trust in the research.
