Author Guidelines

Everything you need to know before submitting your manuscript to Contusm Publications

Introduction

Contusm Publications is an international open access publisher dedicated to disseminating high-quality research. We welcome submissions from authors worldwide and uphold strict editorial and ethical standards. To maintain consistency and quality, authors are requested to follow the guidelines below before submitting their manuscript.

Manuscript Types Accepted

We accept Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Case Reports, Short Communications, Editorials, and Letters to the Editor. Please check the journal’s aims and scope for further details.

Manuscript Preparation

• Title: Clear, concise, and reflective of the content.
• Abstract: A structured summary of not more than 250 words, followed by 3–5 keywords.
• Main Text: Use the IMRAD format – Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion (for research papers).
• References: Use Vancouver or APA style. Ensure all citations are accurate and complete.
• Figures/Tables: Number and reference them within the text. High-resolution images (300 DPI) should be submitted separately if possible.

Formatting

• Font: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing
• Margins: 1 inch on all sides
• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

Authorship Criteria

Authors should have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. Contributors not meeting authorship criteria should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.

Ethical Considerations

• Informed consent must be obtained for studies involving humans.
• Ethical clearance from institutional review boards should be included where applicable.
• Animal studies must comply with institutional and national guidelines.

Submission Process

Submit your manuscript via email to editorialoffice@contusmpublications.com. Include all required files such as the cover letter, manuscript, images, and any supplementary materials.

Plagiarism

All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Articles with more than 15%-20% similarity (excluding references and common phrases) may be rejected or sent back for revision.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

A nominal publication fee is applicable upon acceptance. Waivers and discounts may be provided under certain conditions or for eligible authors.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is cited.
